Formative Game-Based Activity Development for Online Workplace Learning: Perceptions of Instructional Designers
This doctoral research explored how experienced instructional designers make decisions when designing formative game-based learning activities for workplace environments. Through interviews with instructional designers across seven countries, the study identified common approaches, challenges, and decision-making practices that contribute to effective game-based learning design.
